Kennedy Carries Momentum of Republican Primary Victory and Democratic Endorsement into Election Day on Tuesday


Incumbent Suffolk County Legislator John M. Kennedy Jr. is in the final days of his re-election campaign, building momentum toward Election Day with a decisive victory in the Republican Party primary and an endorsement from the Democratic Party. Polls are open on Tuesday, November 6 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.


Overwhelming Support Helped Kennedy to Primary Win

In the days prior to the primary, Legislator Kennedy received support from key law enforcement and public safety organizations, as well as the Long Island Voters Forum, the Long Island Environmental Voters Forum and the Suffolk County Association of Municipal Employees.

September 29:

1st Annual Ride for PKS Kids

Legislator Kennedy will be participating in a motorcycle run at 1 p.m. to raise awareness and funds to fight Pallister-Killian Mosaic Syndrome, a chromosomal abnormality that affects hundreds of children. The run begins at 11 a.m. at Double R’s Bar in Islip Terrace and ends with a reception at the Bluepoint Racquetball Club at 9a Montauk Highway in Bluepoint.

Lake Ronkonkoma Fall Festival: Legislator Kennedy will join the Lake Ronkonkoma Civic Association at its annual Fall Festival, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Michael P. Murphy Memorial Park, Lake Shore Road (Brookhaven Beach at Lake Ronkonkoma). Activities include crafts, entertainment and children’s activities as well as food and vendors.
